Clarkston, MI – One Injured in I-75 NB Crash Near E Holly Rd

Clarkston, MI (April 9, 2025) – A crash with injuries involving at least two vehicles occurred Wednesday afternoon on northbound I-75 just past the E Holly Rd area in Oakland County. The incident happened at approximately 5:12 p.m. ET and caused major disruptions to traffic as emergency services arrived on the scene.

According to reports from Michigan authorities, the collision blocked the right lane and right shoulder, forcing vehicles to merge into fewer lanes during peak traffic hours. EMS, local police, and fire crews responded promptly and assisted those involved in the wreck. At least one individual sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed at this time.

Firefighters worked to secure the crash site and manage fuel or debris hazards while law enforcement directed traffic around the scene. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles, and lane closures remained in effect until the roadway was cleared and deemed safe for travel.

Michigan State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. No citations or criminal charges have been announced.
