Clayton Co., GA – Deputy Critically Injured in Crash on I-75 SB Near Forest Pkwy

Clayton County, GA (September 12, 2025) – A Clayton County sheriff’s deputy is in critical condition following a high-speed chase crash on Interstate 75 southbound near Forest Parkway.

The collision occurred on September 10, during a police pursuit of a white Infiniti. According to the Georgia State Patrol, the Infiniti struck the cab of an 18-wheeler, causing the semi-truck to veer into the deputy’s path. The deputy’s patrol vehicle collided with the truck, overturned, and struck the guardrail.

Emergency responders transported the deputy to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen, along with other deputies, arrived at the hospital to support their injured colleague.
