Clifton, OH – ODOT Reports Traffic Crash with Injuries on I-75 near Clifton Ave

Clifton, OH (January 27, 2023) – The Ohio Department of Transportation notified Highway Patrol and firefighters that they were needed to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on Thursday morning in Clifton.

On January 26, the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a traffic crash on Interstate 75 at around 7:30 a.m. Preliminary reports show that a traffic collision occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 75.

The incident took place near the overpass for Clifton Avenue. The incident caused delays in traffic that extended back to the exit for Hopple Street.

Emergency crews remained at the scene extensively as they worked to clear the road.

Emergency medical services responded to care for the injured victims. At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital for further medical care. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
