Cobb Co, GA (April 4, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash resulted in lane closures and injuries on April 4 in Cobb County. The collision occurred on I-75 southbound at Canton Rd (MM 266.9), leading to the closure of the two left lanes and causing significant delays during the late afternoon commute.

According to Cobb County DOT and Georgia DOT officials, the incident happened around 3:45 p.m. Emergency responders, including Cobb County Police, Fire & Rescue, and paramedics, were quickly dispatched to the scene. Multiple vehicles were found with visible damage, and crews worked efficiently to assist those involved and manage the congested traffic.

At least one person sustained injuries in the crash and was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Authorities reported that the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
