Cobb Co., GA – Injuries Reported Following Crash on I-75 SB Near Delk Rd. Exit

Cobb County, GA (May 4, 2025) – A crash involving several vehicles resulted in injuries on May 4 on Interstate 75 southbound at the Delk Road exit (Exit 261) in Cobb County. Georgia State Patrol officers were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash occurred in the early afternoon. First responders treated multiple individuals at the scene. One person with moderate injuries was transported to a nearby hospital, while others were checked and released after receiving on-site care. The crash caused traffic to slow to a crawl as law enforcement worked to clear the scene and manage the heavy congestion. The Georgia State Patrol is currently investigating the circumstances of the crash.
