Cobb Co, GA – Injury Crash on I-75 SB Past Truist Park

Cobb Co, GA (April 24, 2025) – A crash injury occurred late Thursday afternoon on I-75 southbound near the I-285 interchange (Exit 259), causing traffic delays and affecting drivers heading past Truist Park in Cobb County.

According to reports released around 5:12 p.m., the crash took place in the right lane of I-75 southbound at the busy I-285 interchange, just as rush hour traffic intensified in the area. Brake lights and heavy congestion were visible for several miles as drivers attempted to navigate around the scene.

Emergency crews, including Cobb County Police, fire rescue, and EMS, responded quickly to assess the situation. At least one individual was injured in the crash.
