Cobb County, GA – GHP Responds to Collision on I-75 near S 120 Loop

Cobb County, GA (March 12, 2023) – A crash reported during the early evening hours on Friday, March 10, left at least one person with injuries.

The Georgia Highway Patrol was notified at approximately 4:50 p.m. that an automobile accident took place on Interstate 75.

Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and located a black SUV, a dark-colored sedan, and a third vehicle on the left lanes of travel on the southbound side of the interstate. Authorities closed off the roadway near South 120 Loop at Exit 263.

Highway Patrol and firefighters went to work quickly on clearing the roadway.

Emergency medical services went to work on rendering aid for the victims who suffered injuries. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
