Cobb County, GA (November 14, 2023) – On Tuesday, November 14th, a serious collision involving 10 vehicles occurred on I-75 South in Cobb County, resulting in four individuals being hospitalized with injuries, as reported by Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene at I-75 and I-285 near Smyrna, to assess the situation. Following investigations conducted by the Georgia Department of Public Safety, it was determined that the accident involved three commercial vehicles and seven-passenger vehicles. The primary cause of the multi-vehicle pileup was identified as an improper lane change by one driver.

Emergency services conveyed that the four injured individuals were promptly transported to the hospital for medical treatment. Notably, one person, initially in critical condition and extricated from a vehicle, is now in stable condition. The remaining three individuals are also reported to be in stable condition, according to Cobb County Fire.
