Collier Co., FL – Semi-Truck Crash on I-75/MM 78 Leaves Several Injured
Collier County, FL (August 16, 2025) – A serious two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck on Interstate 75 on Friday morning, August 15, left multiple people injured.
The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. near mile marker 78, close to the SR-29 exit in the northbound lanes of Alligator Alley. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, several victims suffered injuries, though the exact number has not been released.
Troopers confirmed that at least one person required transport to a local hospital for further treatment, while others were treated on-site for non-life-threatening injuries.
