Collier County, FL – Injuries Reported in I-75 Southbound Collision
Collier County, FL (May 15, 2025) – Several people were injured in a crash that occurred Wednesday morning along the southbound lanes of Interstate 75 near mile marker 92 in eastern Collier County.
The collision was first reported at approximately 10:51 a.m. on May 14, with emergency crews arriving on the scene by 10:56 a.m. Paramedics treated injured individuals at the scene before transporting them to nearby hospitals for additional care.
Though traffic was impacted, all lanes remained open as first responders worked from the shoulder to assist victims and assess the crash site. Motorists in the area experienced delays during the emergency response.
This portion of Interstate 75, located just outside Naples, is a heavily traveled corridor connecting rural and suburban areas across southern Florida. Despite the lack of a full road closure, the incident temporarily disrupted the morning commute.
The Florida Highway Patrol is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. The number of vehicles involved has not yet been released, and officials are reviewing potential contributing factors such as speed or lane changes.
