Columbia Co., FL – Two Injured in Motorhome and Semi-Truck Crash on I-75
Columbia County, FL (March 18, 2025) – Two women from Fort Myers suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a motorhome and a semi-truck on Interstate 75 on Sunday, March 16. According to Florida Highway Patrol, the motorhome was traveling southbound when it collided with a semi-truck under unclear circumstances. Emergency medical teams arrived at the scene and provided immediate assistance.
The two women inside the motorhome sustained serious injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The semi-truck driver, whose identity has not been released, was evaluated on-site and did not require hospitalization. Authorities temporarily closed several lanes as crews worked to clear the wreckage and investigate the cause of the crash. Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
