Davie, FL – DFR Transports Seven Victims to Hospital Following I-75 Car Crash near Sheridan St

Davie, FL (January 7, 2023) – Emergency crews across Davie responded to the scene of the major traffic accident that took place early Saturday evening that left multiple people injured. The crash was reported just after five p.m. on January 7.

The Davies Police Department, Davie Fire Rescue, and Florida Highway Patrol all responded to the scene of the accident to assist.

Reports show that a traffic collision blocked multiple lanes on North Interstate 75 in the area near the exit for Sheridan Street. The Davie Fire Department assisted at the scene of the accident.

A total of seven people were harmed in the accident. Authorities provided care to the victims at the scene. Davie Fire Rescue then transported all seven victims to Memorial Regional Hospital for emergency care.

Multiple first responders remained at the scene for several hours as they worked to clear the northbound lanes of the highway.
