Dayton, OH – Crash on I-75 near West 2nd St. Results in Hospitalization of at Least One Person

Dayton, OH (July 13, 2023) – A crash on I-75 northbound in Dayton on Wednesday afternoon, July 12th, led to at least one person being taken to the hospital.

Montgomery County Regional dispatch received a call just before 4:10 p.m., prompting the response of Dayton police and medics to the scene near West Second Street. According to dispatchers, one individual was transported to the hospital, while another medic was en route to provide further assistance.

Ohio Department of Transportation traffic cameras captured the aftermath, showing one vehicle on its side and another positioned off the road. Although the lanes were temporarily blocked, the situation was resolved, and the lanes have since reopened, as reported by ODOT.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is currently underway as authorities work to gather more information and determine the cause of the accident.
