Dayton, OH – Fatal Pedestrian Crash on I-75 Results in Tragic Loss near MP 60
Dayton, Ohio (April 15, 2024) – A fatal pedestrian crash occurred on Sunday, April 14th, at 8:50 p.m. on I-75 near milepost 60 in Butler Township, Montgomery County. The incident claimed the life of a pedestrian and involved two vehicles. Preliminary investigations revealed that a Chevrolet Malibu operated by Kathleen Thompson, 73, of Dayton, and a Cadillac Escalade operated by Morgan Felger, 31, of Waynesville, were traveling south on I-75. The pedestrian, identified as David Satkowski, 19, of Lapeer, Michigan, was crossing the interstate from east to west and was struck by both vehicles in the middle lanes. Tragically, Satkowski succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene. Neither Thompson nor Felger sustained injuries in the collision. Multiple agencies responded to the scene to assist, and investigations are ongoing.
