Dayton, OH – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-75/Benchwood Rd  Leaves Injuries

Dayton, OH (February 14, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision occurred on I-75 near Benchwood Road in Vandalia on the morning of February 14, involving an occupied ambulance and a commercial truck. Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSP) were dispatched to the scene around 11:48 a.m. after receiving crash reports. According to OSP’s Dayton Post, the ambulance was transporting a patient at the time of the collision.

Fortunately, the patient was reported to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The commercial truck, however, sustained significant damage, though the driver’s condition remains unclear. Emergency responders, including local fire and medical teams, assessed the situation on-site and confirmed that no additional medical attention was required for the individuals involved. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently reviewing the circumstances surrounding the collision.
