Detroit, MI – Car Crash Reported on I-75 near McNichols Rd Ends in Injuries

Detroit, MI (January 31, 2023) – A traffic accident was reported in Detroit on Sunday that sent at least one of the involved parties to an area hospital with injuries.

On January 29, the Michigan State Police in Wayne County was notified that a traffic crash had occurred on Interstate 75.

During the morning hours on Sunday, a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident prompted officials to block off multiple lanes in the area near McNichols Road.

Authorities remained at the scene extensively as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles.

At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.

At around noon, authorities notified officials that the accident had been cleared. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
