Detroit, MI – Crash on I-75 near 12 Mile Rd Ends in Injuries

Detroit, MI (March 1, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a car crash that took place in Detroit.

On March 1, the Michigan State Police responded to an auto accident that occurred on Interstate 75.

Preliminary reports show that just before 8:00 a.m., vehicles collided on the northbound side of the interstate. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway near 12 Mile Road as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles.

At least one of the parties involved in the crash suffered injuries. The victims were provided care at the scene and transported to area hospitals for further treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
