Detroit, MI – Crash on Walter P Chrysler Freeway near Schaefer Highway Ends in Injuries

Detroit, MI (February 8, 2023) – An automobile accident took place on the southwest side of Detroit that left at least one person injured.

The accident was reported just after 5:15 p.m. on February 7.

According to reports provided by the Michigan State Police, an automobile accident took place on the northbound side of the Walter P Chrysler Freeway, Interstate 75. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway near the exit for Schaefer Highway.

EMS arrived at the scene of the collision to treat the injured people. At least one individual was taken to a nearby hospital for additional treatment.

The state police are currently investigating the accident.
