Detroit, MI – Crash w/ Injuries on I-75 SB at 8 Mile Rd

 Detroit, MI (May 4, 2025) – A crash resulting in injuries was reported on the southbound side of Interstate 75 at 8 Mile Road in Wayne County during the early evening hours of May 4. The accident occurred just after 7:00 p.m. and involved multiple vehicles that collided near Exit 59, backing up traffic for miles. According to local authorities, several individuals sustained injuries in the wreck. Detroit Police and Michigan State Police troopers responded quickly to the scene, securing the area and directing traffic away from the crash site. Emergency medical personnel provided on-site first aid to the injured victims who were transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Investigators are still working to determine what led to the crash.
