Detroit, MI – Crash with Injuries Reported on Fisher Freeway near Springwells St

Detroit, MI (February 9, 2023) – Injuries were confirmed as a result of an automobile accident that took place on Thursday morning, February 9, in Detroit.

The Michigan Department of Transportation alerted authorities at approximately 7:40 a.m. that a car crash occurred on Interstate 75, the Fisher Freeway.

Preliminary reports show that a vehicle collision blocked the northbound side of the interstate. The accident caused delays in the area after spring Wells Street. Authorities secured the left shoulder and left lane of travel as they provided assistance at the scene.

The accident victims who suffered injuries were treated by medical professionals. Ambulances were used to transport victims who needed further medical attention to nearby hospitals.

The state police out of Michigan is currently investigating the accident.
