Detroit, MI (April 12, 2025) – A serious crash with injuries was reported on April 12 along the eastbound M-8 freeway near its junction with Interstate 75 in Wayne County, prompting an emergency response. Michigan State Police confirmed that multiple vehicles were involved in the collision, which occurred just before the evening rush hour. The incident caused a temporary closure of several lanes as first responders assessed the scene and provided aid to the injured. Emergency medical teams treated several individuals on-site. Two people were transported to Detroit Receiving Hospital for additional treatment following injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Michigan State Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
