Detroit, MI – MDOT Reports Injury Accident on I-75 near Springwells St

Detroit, MI (March 14, 2023) – A collision that occurred in the Spring Wells neighborhood and resulted in injuries prompted the response of emergency crews to the scene.

On March 13, at around 8:40 p.m., the Michigan State Police responded to a collision that occurred on Interstate 75.

The incident caused some disruptions on the southbound side of the roadway in the area near Exit 45 at Springwells Street.

Emergency medical services attended to injured victims while firefighters and police cleared the road. Those who required additional medical treatment were taken to one of the nearby hospitals.

Investigations are currently being conducted on the events that led up to the accident.
