Detroit, MI – One Injured in Crash on I-75 SB After 7 Mile
Detroit, MI (April 21, 2025) – A crash occurred early on April 21 on southbound Interstate 75 in Detroit, just after 7 Mile, at approximately 12:18 a.m. The collision resulted in significant traffic disruption as emergency crews responded to the scene.
According to initial reports, the crash involved two vehicles. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, though witnesses indicated that one vehicle may have lost control before striking the other. Emergency responders arrived quickly, and at least one individual was injured in the crash. The injured party received medical attention at the scene and was transported to a nearby hospital for further care. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, but they required medical evaluation.
The Michigan State Police, along with local fire departments, assisted in clearing the wreckage and managing the traffic flow. The right lanes were initially blocked as tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles and authorities worked to clear the scene.
