Detroit, MI – Vehicle Crash with Injuries Reported on I-75 near I-96

Detroit, MI (February 6, 2023) – The state police in Michigan responded to the scene of a car crash that took place in the Detroit area and resulted in injuries.

On February 5, authorities were notified that they were needed on-site at a motor vehicle accident on the north side of Interstate 75.

Crash reports indicate that a vehicle collision blocked the right lane of travel on North Interstate 75 in the area after Interstate 96 at approximately 2:40 p.m.

The Michigan Department of Transportation reported delays in traffic that extended back from Interstate 96 to Vernon Highway as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

Emergency medical services were notified that their assistance was needed on-site. At least one of the people involved in the crash suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The Michigan State Police are currently investigating the accident.
