East Rdg, TN – Crash Injures One on I-75 NB Shoulder at Hwy 41

East Ridge, TN (May 14, 2025) – A two-vehicle injury crash occurred Wednesday morning in East Ridge, Tennessee, on the northbound side of I-75 just past the Hwy 41 (US-41)/Exit 1 interchange. The accident was reported around 9:10 a.m., with vehicles coming to rest on the left shoulder of the interstate.

According to reports from the Tennessee Department of Transportation and local responders, two vehicles were involved in a collision for reasons that remain under investigation. Emergency crews arrived promptly and found one person injured at the scene. The individual received immediate medical assistance from paramedics and was later transported to a nearby hospital with injuries described as moderate but not life-threatening. The second driver was evaluated but declined transport.

Firefighters from the East Ridge Fire Department helped secure the crash site, removed debris, and ensured no fire hazards were present. Traffic enforcement officers and the Tennessee Highway Patrol managed the scene and kept vehicles moving in the remaining open lanes while investigators documented the circumstances of the crash.

Although the crash was confined to the shoulder, it still caused delays for drivers during the morning rush. All vehicles were cleared shortly after 10:00 a.m.
