East Ridge, TN – I-75 Accident near I-24 Ends in Injuries

East Ridge, TN (March 17, 2023) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol was notified on Wednesday evening that their assistance was needed at the scene of an automobile accident that took place in the East Ridge area and sent at least one person to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol received calls for help at approximately 5:15 p.m.

Reports from law enforcement indicate that vehicles collided along the southbound side of Interstate 75 during the early evening hours. The crash blocked lanes in the area near Exit 2 at Interstate 24.

Emergency medical services were notified that they were needed at the scene to treat victims. At least one person was then transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers are currently investigating.
