East Ridge, TN – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near I-24

East Ridge, TN (January 4, 2023) – The Kentucky State police responded to a traffic accident that took place on Tuesday afternoon that resulted in injuries. At around 3:20 p.m. on January 3, the police and firefighters were notified that a traffic accident occurred on Interstate 75.

According to law enforcement, a traffic collision blocked the northbound side of Interstate 75 in the area near exit 2 at Interstate 24.

The state police and firefighters responded to the scene and blocked off multiple lanes in the area. Authorities went to work on securing the area and clearing the roadway.

Paramedics provided treatment to the victims who suffered injuries before transporting them to an area hospital.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
