Estero, FL – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on I-75 Near MM 124

Estero, FL (September 15, 2024) – A fatal accident occurred on the morning of September 14, 2024, involving a motorcycle and a car along I-75 northbound near mile marker 124. The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the crash led to the death of the motorcyclist at the scene. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) reported that the collision involved a car and a motorcycle, with the motorcyclist being pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation by the LCSO. Due to the extent of the crash, the roadway was temporarily closed to traffic but has since reopened.
