Estero, FL – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Near MM 123 Sends Two to Hospital

Estero, FL (March 11, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident involving a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) vehicle occurred Tuesday night, March 11, on Interstate 75 northbound near Mile Marker 123 in Estero. According to FHP officials, the crash happened when a vehicle struck a stationary vehicle, setting off a chain reaction involving several vehicles. Emergency responders arrived quickly, and two individuals from another vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation. Authorities temporarily closed multiple lanes to assess the damage and investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision. Traffic was heavily impacted as crews worked to clear the roadway. The Florida Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the accident.
