Florence, KY – Two Injured in Car Crash on I-75 near Exit 180

Florence, KY (February 1, 2023) – A traffic accident took place in the Florence area on Tuesday morning that resulted in injuries. On January 31, the Kentucky State Police responded to the scene of a traffic crash that had taken place on Interstate 75.

At approximately 9:40 a.m., three vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The incident caused delays near exit 180 to U.S. Highway 42.

Authorities were called to the scene and immediately shut down the roadway as they worked to clear the three damaged vehicles and debris from the road. The incident caused stop-and-go traffic that extended back to Kentucky State Route 338.

Two people involved in the accident suffered injuries. The victims were both transported to area hospitals for emergency treatment.

At this time, the Kentucky State Police are investigating the crash.
