Fort Myers, FL – Fatal Crash on I-75 S/Alico Road Exit Ramp

Fort Myers, FL (June 7, 2024) – A tragic accident on June 7th at around 3:49 a.m. resulted in a fatality on the Alico Road exit ramp of I-75 South at MM-127. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a gold Kia sedan, carrying two women from Lehigh Acres, rear-ended a semi-truck parked on the shoulder of the exit ramp. The collision resulted in the death of the 21-year-old female passenger. The driver, a 28-year-old woman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The crash caused significant damage to vehicles, and emergency services were on the scene to provide immediate assistance. The Florida Highway Patrol is thoroughly investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
