Fort Myers, FL – Motorcyclist Injured in Wreck with Semi-Truck on I-75/MM 126
Fort Myers, FL (May 24, 2024) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a crash with a semi-truck on northbound I-75 in South Fort Myers on Friday, May 24th, around 3:25 p.m. near mile marker 126, just before the Alico Road exit, according to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). First responders arrived promptly at the scene to find the motorcyclist in critical condition. Emergency personnel administered initial treatment before transporting the injured rider to a nearby hospital for further medical care. Notably, the semi-truck involved in the collision was not damaged, and the truck driver did not sustain any injuries. FHP troopers remained on the scene to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. The northbound lanes of I-75 experienced significant delays as crews worked to clear the area and gather evidence.
