Franklin, OH – Metodi Panev Loses Life in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-75 near OH-123
Franklin, OH (February 27, 2023) – A 66-year-old man has died as a result of an accident that took place Saturday evening in Warren County. Calls for help came in at around 9:30 p.m. on February 25.
According to officials, a truck was traveling south on Interstate 75 when he began experiencing equipment failure. As a result, the vehicle pulled to the side of the roadway just north of Ohio State Route 123.
While on the side of the road, a second vehicle traveling through the area crashed into the truck.
One person involved in the accident, 66-year-old Metodi Panev, suffered injuries. He was transported to Atrium Medical Center for emergency care. The police confirmed that he passed away after arriving.
A second person involved in the accident was treated for injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
