Franklin Township, OH – Jerry Sprinkle Fatally Struck by Truck on I-75 near MM 40
Franklin Township, OH (March 3, 2023) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that 50-year-old Jerry Sprinkle has died as a result of a pedestrian accident that took place in Franklin Township on Wednesday evening, March 1.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., Sprinkle was struck by a 2019 Peterbilt tractor-trailer on the southbound side of Interstate 75.
Authorities arrived at the scene and closed off the roadway near mile marker 40 in Franklin Township.
The pedestrian was located at the scene with multiple blunt force injuries due to the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office.
The driver of the semi-truck, 62-year-old Jeffery Allen, was not injured in the accident.
At this time, investigations into the accident are underway.
