Fulton Co, GA – Injuries in Rollover Crash on I-75/85 NB at I-20

Fulton Co, GA (April 30, 2025) – A rollover crash injury occurred late Wednesday morning in Fulton County, Georgia, on the northbound lanes of the I-75/85 connector near the I-20 interchange (Exit 247). The crash blocked at least one right lane and caused heavy delays in downtown Atlanta traffic.

According to initial reports from Georgia State Patrol and Atlanta emergency dispatchers, the single-vehicle rollover happened shortly before 10:45 a.m. Authorities stated that the vehicle had flipped at least once before coming to rest on its roof along the shoulder. A 35-year-old female driver was found conscious but injured inside the overturned SUV. She sustained a fractured arm and multiple abrasions. Firefighters worked quickly to stabilize the vehicle and assist in extricating her safely before paramedics transported her to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Responders secured the area while troopers initiated a preliminary investigation into the cause of the crash. No other vehicles were involved. Delays extended through the noon hour as cleanup crews worked to clear the scene and reopen the affected lane.
