Fulton Co, GA – Injury Crash on 75/85 S at I-20

Fulton Co, GA (May 7, 2025) – A two-vehicle injury crash occurred early Wednesday morning in Fulton County, causing traffic delays and requiring emergency response. The collision took place on the southbound lanes of 75/85 at the I-20 junction, near mile marker 247. The crash blocked the left lane and led to significant slowdowns through downtown Atlanta during the early rush hour.

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the incident was reported shortly after 7:00 a.m. Emergency services, including Atlanta Fire Rescue and Georgia State Patrol, responded promptly. Paramedics treated at least one individual for injuries at the crash site before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. The exact nature of the injuries has not been disclosed, but they are believed to be non-life-threatening.
