Fulton Co, GA – Injury Crash on I-75 S Near Cleveland Ave

Fulton Co, GA (February 26, 2025) – An injury crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon on southbound I-75 past Cleveland Ave (mm 241.9) in Fulton County, resulting in significant traffic disruptions. The incident, reported by the Georgia State Patrol, happened around 3:15 p.m., involved two cars.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, the crash occurred when one car collided with another in the left lane, causing the first vehicle to lose control and block the highway. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and firefighters assisted in extricating the injured individuals from the vehicles. Paramedics transported the injured driver to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Although no fatalities were reported, at least one person sustained injuries.

The left lane of I-75 remained blocked for a considerable amount of time, causing major delays for drivers traveling southbound. Authorities worked swiftly to clear the scene and reroute traffic to alternate routes. The Georgia State Patrol and other emergency services worked together to ensure the safety of all involved and managed traffic flow until the crash site was cleared. Once the vehicles were removed, the highway was reopened, and traffic resumed its normal flow.
