Fulton Co, GA – One Hospitalized After I-75 SB Crash NW

Fulton Co, GA (April 15, 2025) – An injury crash occurred on April 15 on Interstate 75 southbound past Northside Drive (Exit 252) in northwest Atlanta, blocking two center lanes and causing extensive traffic delays stretching back into Midtown. The collision took place around 5:20 p.m. during peak rush hour, significantly disrupting the evening commute on one of Atlanta’s busiest highways.

Emergency personnel from the Atlanta Police Department, Atlanta Fire Rescue, and EMS responded to the scene shortly after the crash was reported. At least two vehicles were involved, with one sedan sustaining major front-end damage. First responders treated multiple individuals at the scene, and at least one person was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Others involved received medical attention for minor cuts and bruises but did not require hospitalization.

Firefighters worked to remove debris and clean up spilled fluids from the travel lanes, while officers managed traffic and kept vehicles moving in the remaining open lanes. Tow trucks arrived to remove the disabled vehicles, and the scene was eventually cleared later in the evening, allowing traffic to resume normal flow.
