Fulton Co, GA – One Injured in I-75 SB Crash Past N Dr

Fulton Co, GA (April 22, 2025) – A crash involving injuries took place on April 22 at southbound Interstate 75, just past Northside Drive, (Exit 252) in northwest Atlanta, prompting emergency response and a partial lane obstruction. The incident, reported around 6:31 p.m., caused delays as traffic was directed cautiously around the right lane, where part of the wreckage remained.

According to initial reports from Fulton County authorities, the crash involved at least two vehicles traveling southbound when one reportedly made an unsafe lane change, striking the other and sending both cars partially into the right lane and shoulder. One of the drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

Emergency crews, including fire and rescue units, responded promptly to assist with medical treatment and clear the affected vehicles from the roadway. Georgia State Patrol remained on the scene to investigate the circumstances leading to the collision while also directing traffic around the crash site.

While the right lane remained partially blocked during the cleanup, traffic was able to flow through the remaining lanes. The situation was brought under control within the hour.
