Fulton Co, GA – Two Injured in Crash on I-75 SB Near W Paces Ferry Rd

Fulton Co, GA (April 30, 2025) – A two-car crash injury occurred Wednesday morning in Fulton County on the southbound lanes of I-75 near W Paces Ferry Rd, exit 255. The accident was reported just after 9:00 a.m. and caused significant traffic congestion stretching back into Cobb County as two to three left lanes were blocked by the wreckage.

According to the Georgia State Patrol and local responders, two vehicles collided near the exit under conditions that are still being reviewed. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage, and one was reported to have struck the median wall. A 42-year-old woman driving one of the vehicles sustained a head laceration and a possible concussion. She was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance for further evaluation. The other driver, a 27-year-old man, complained of chest pain and was treated on scene by EMS but refused hospital transport.

Atlanta Fire and Rescue assisted in securing the crash site and clearing the blocked lanes, while police managed traffic flow and initiated an investigation. Delays extended through the late morning as cleanup operations continued.
