Fulton Co, GA – Two-Vehicle Injury Crash on I-75 SB Before Porsche Ave

Fulton Co, GA (May 8, 2025) – A two-vehicle injury crash occurred Thursday morning on the southbound side of Interstate 75 just before Porsche Ave (Exit 239), causing right-lane closures and emergency response activity in the Atlanta area.

The crash happened at approximately 6:14 a.m., according to initial reports from local authorities. Two vehicles collided in the right lanes, triggering a significant backup during the early morning commute. One of the vehicles sustained major front-end damage, and at least one occupant suffered injuries consistent with the impact.

Atlanta Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at the scene alongside Fulton County EMS. Firefighters assisted in extracting a driver from one of the damaged vehicles, while paramedics provided on-site treatment before transporting the injured individual to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
