Genesee County, MI – Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near Vienna Rd

Genesee County, MI (January 30, 2023) – Emergency officials were called to provide assistance at the scene of a major crash that took place in Genesee County on Saturday morning. On January 28, the Michigan State Police was dispatched to a traffic crash on Interstate 75.

Reports from authorities show that at around 11:05 a.m., a traffic accident blocked three left lanes of travel on the northbound side of the interstate.

The incident prompted authorities to close off the roadway just after Vienna Road at exit 131. The police and firefighters remained at the scene as they worked to clear the roadway.

Paramedics were called to care for the injured victims while on site. At least one of the injured victims was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
