Georgetown, KY (October 15, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash left two people critically injured on Tuesday evening, October 14, on northbound I-75 near mile marker 127 in Georgetown. The collision occurred around 7:30 p.m., according to the Georgetown Police Department.
Assistant Chief Josh Nash confirmed that three vehicles were involved, with two sustaining heavy damage and blocking the roadway. Two victims were transported to a nearby hospital—one with life-threatening injuries and another listed in critical condition. A crash reconstruction team responded to investigate the scene.
Preliminary reports indicate traffic had stopped on the interstate when one vehicle struck the rear of another, pushing it into a third vehicle. Occupants in the third vehicle were not injured. Traffic was diverted at Exit 127, and vehicles were rerouted through a nearby rest area while crews cleared the wreckage.
Authorities continue to investigate what led to the crash. Our thoughts are with the injured individuals, and we hope for their full recovery.
