Gibsonton, FL – Multi-Vehicle Injury Crash Reported on I-75 near Gibsonton Dr

Gibsonton, FL (March 16, 2023) – On March 15, emergency crews were called to the scene of an accident that took place in Hillsborough County and ended in injuries.

At approximately 6:00 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol was notified that an automobile accident had occurred on Interstate 75.

The reports from FHP show that multiple vehicles collided on the southbound side of the interstate highway. The incident prompted authorities to close off a portion of the road near Gibsonton Drive.

Emergency crews spent an extended period on-site as they worked to clear the scene.

Paramedics were called to care for victims and transport them to local hospitals.

The incident remains under investigation.
