Hamilton Co, TN – Crash with Injuries on I-75 N near E Brainerd Rd

Hamilton Co, TN (April 25, 2025) – A two-car crash injury occurred on Friday morning, April 25, on Interstate 75 Northbound just before the East Brainerd Road exit in Chattanooga, leading to significant traffic delays for morning commuters. The incident was initially reported at around 7:57 a.m. Eastern Time.

According to preliminary information, two vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of I-75 under circumstances that remain under investigation. Emergency responders, including Chattanooga Fire Department, Hamilton County EMS, and local police units, arrived promptly to assist. Firefighters worked to stabilize the vehicles and assist occupants, while paramedics treated several individuals for injuries sustained in the collision. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation, with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Others involved were assessed at the scene and released.

Traffic flow was heavily impacted as responders blocked multiple lanes to ensure the safety of the victims and workers. Drivers experienced substantial delays and were urged to use caution or seek alternate routes while emergency crews cleared the scene. The wreckage was eventually removed, and normal traffic patterns were restored later in the morning after several hours of cleanup efforts.
