Hamilton Co, TN – I-75 SB Ramp Crash Near I-24 Injures One
Hamilton Co, TN (April 24, 2025) – A crash injury occurred late Thursday morning on I-75 southbound near the ramp to I-24 West in Hamilton County, prompting an emergency response and causing major traffic disruptions.
According to initial information provided by the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the crash took place at approximately 11:50 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Exit 2 for I-24 West toward Chattanooga and Nashville. The right lane and right shoulder of the exit ramp were blocked following the collision, leading to a slowdown in traffic flow throughout the surrounding area.
Emergency personnel, including Hamilton County EMS, fire rescue, and law enforcement, responded quickly. At least one person was reported injured in the crash. Paramedics rendered aid at the site before transporting the injured party to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
