Hamilton Co, TN – Injury Crash on I-75 SB Near White Oak Mtn

Hamilton Co, TN (May 8, 2025) – A two-vehicle injury crash occurred Thursday morning on I-75 southbound near White Oak Mountain in the Ooltewah area, causing significant traffic disruption and prompting emergency response from multiple agencies.

The incident was reported at approximately 6:43 a.m. Eastern Time and took place during the morning commute hours. According to local authorities and the Tennessee Department of Transportation updates, two vehicles collided under unknown circumstances along the southbound lanes of I-75.

Hamilton County EMS and fire crews responded to the scene along with Tennessee Highway Patrol officers. One individual sustained injuries as a result of the crash and was treated at the scene before being transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The extent of the injuries has not been disclosed, though the individual was reportedly conscious and breathing.
