Hamilton Co, TN – Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on I-75 S Near Hwy 153
Hamilton Co, TN (April 7, 2025) – A multi-vehicle injury crash occurred on April 7 on Interstate 75 South near the Highway 153 Exit in Hamilton County, causing major traffic delays and requiring emergency response from multiple agencies. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reported that the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. and involved several vehicles traveling southbound.
According to TDOT and local authorities, the crash led to the closure of multiple lanes on I-75 as firefighters, EMS, and law enforcement worked to manage the scene. At least one individual sustained injuries in the collision and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. The current condition of the injured person has not been publicly disclosed.
Firefighters with the Chattanooga Fire Department assisted in extricating individuals from the vehicles, which sustained significant damage.
