Hamilton County, FL – Multi-Vehicle Injury Accident Reported on I-75 near US-129

Hamilton County, FL (February 12, 2023) – At least one person was hospitalized with injuries following a motor vehicle accident on Saturday evening, February 11, in Hamilton County.

 The Florida Highway Patrol was notified at approximately 4:50 p.m. that multiple vehicles were involved in a collision on the northbound side of Interstate 75.

Authorities responded to the scene and immediately secured the roadway near the ramp from US Highway 129. The incident blocked two lanes of travel, causing delays in the area.

Paramedics were called to provide treatment to the victims who suffered injuries. An unknown number of injured parties were transported from the scene to area hospitals for further treatment.

The Florida Highway Patrol is actively investigating the accident.
