Hamilton, OH – Accident with Injuries Reported on I-75 near Mitchell Ave

Hamilton, OH (March 2, 2023) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers were called to provide assistance at the scene of a crash that took place on Wednesday afternoon in Hamilton County.

OSHP was notified at approximately 3:45 p.m. on March 1 about the accident.

According to officials, a collision between vehicles blocked the left lane of travel on southbound Interstate 75. The incident prompted Ohio State Highway Patrol to close off the roadway near Mitchell Avenue at Exit 6. Delays in traffic extended back to Exit 7 at Ohio State Route 562 as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

At least one person was injured in the accident. Paramedics responded to the scene to render aid to the injured victims. Those who required further medical care were transported to area hospitals.

The circumstances surrounding this accident are currently being investigated.
